Directions to ‘Lakeside Holiday Park’, from Dublin:

On leaving Dublin via the M50 Motorway at the 'Redcow Junction', follow directions for ‘THE SOUTH’ and ‘M7’.

(The sign-posting will be quite prominent for these routes)

You will be heading in the direction of LIMERICK / M7.

Continue on the M7 Motorway until it's completion, where it will merge into the N7 National Road.

After travelling for approximately 2hr, 15/30 minutes, you have two options;

Option .A.

there is a turn-off to your Right (after Nenagh By-pass), for ‘Killaloe/Ballina’ ,Heritage Town. (This turn-off is approx. 2km before a village called 'Birdhill' ).

Option .B.

If you miss this turn-off, there is another one at 'Birdhill' and it is a Major Junction. If you are travelling with a Caravan or Motorhome, take this turn-off as the road is wider & better for navigation. Turn Right for 'Ballina/Killaloe'.

On arriving into Ballina, turn left and cross the bridge over into Killaloe. Turn right directly after crossing the bridge and take the road for ‘Scarriff ‘(R463). Before arriving into Scarriff, you will come into 'Tuamgraney' Village. Keep right at the Junction and turn right onto the R353. Scarriff is less than 1km away.

Once arriving in Scarriff, follow the signs for Mountshannon (Keep right).

Finally, on arriving in Mountshannon, drive through the village (R352) and you will see a directional signpost for the Park. Then take the first turn right after the village, signposted Lakeside Caravan & Camping, Watersports Park.

Take this small road (known as a 'Boreen' in traditional Irish times) to the very end, following the white signposting.

After a couple of minutes drive you will enter our Park, where you will be very Welcome.....
